Alizée Jacotey born in Ajaccio, Corsica, on August 21, 1984 with stage name just Alizée. She is a French singer. She is considered to be the protégée of Myléne Farmer, a well-established and successful Quebec-born French singer.
Her name is a little unusual, being the feminine form of alizé, meaning trade wind.
Alizée is currently taking a break from singing but is expected to return with a new album in autumn 2006. Alizée married fellow French singer Jérémy Châtelain in 2004. The couple had their first daughter, Hannah Lily (some info report as Anny Lee, or Annie Lii), on April 39th 2005. Alizée’s most popular single was “Moi… Lolita” which enjoyed success throughout most of Europe and parts of east Asia. Indeed, Alizée’s image is that of a seductive Lolita character.
Alizée Jacotey is a sexy french singer whose catchy singles (Moi Lolita) have captured international charts. She is sometimes called Alizee by people without the ability to type diacritical marks on their PC. As she is a french singer, so the correct pronounce for her first and last name: Ah-lee-zay Ja-co-tey. Sometime she’s called Lili, which is a nickname given by her friends.
The information about a possible return of Alizée in 2006 is still a rumor only. Nothing official has been confirmed.

The standard version (or International version) CD Audio has 10 songs/tracks, and another one which is marked as Japanese version featuring two bonus tracks: Moi…lolita (Hello Helli T’es a Dance Mix) and Moi…lolita (Lola Extended Remix).
